Anyone who travels a lot by car nowadays often uses one or the other app for their smartphone, with which a number of practical additional functions can be brought into the car. Especially if the infotainment system of your mobile pedestal is not yet from the latest generation, you can get navigation, traffic jam warnings and a lot more.
With the “ADAC Spritpreise” app, Germany’s largest automobile club has been offering one of the most important apps for motorists for a long time. It has now been significantly upgraded and also offers drivers of e-cars valuable information.

In addition to price comparison and navigation for petrol stations, there are now also charging stations. 82,000 charging stations with a total of 220,000 charging points are stored in the ADAC app. E-car drivers can actively search for a charging station or simply be navigated directly to one (source: ADAC).
The ADAC offers several options for filtering the suggested charging stations: users of the app can have locations sorted according to charging power in kW, supported plug types, payment methods and the operators of the respective charging stations. The number of available charging ports is also specified for each charging station, drivers can Save charging stations as favorites and integrate them into the navigation.
