They misused the Europa 2 and Express brands for fraudulent competition

Radio Európa 2 and Expres, which belong to the joint BAUER MEDIA Slovakia group, warn against fraudulent sites. These take the form of Facebook profiles and are written by other users under the pretext of withdrawing money from them. The news was brought by the Expres radio website.

Fake accounts by moderators Europe 2 and Express extract money from people

They write to users that they have won in non-existent competitions – the mentioned radio stations never inform about their competitions via Facebook, but have them published on their websites.

They then try to solicit personal and credit card information from users through a fake and suspicious-looking site. These radios state that they never ask for information from payment cards. They also do not use sites other than their own.

BAUER MEDIA Slovakia has already informed the police, who will deal with this.

Several warnings from users contacted by Matúš Krnčoek’s fake Facebook account appeared on Facebook under a warning from Radio Expres. One of them mentions that she also ran into him and sent € 1. After realizing that she had run into fraud, she called the bank and tried to resolve the situation.
