Very best wireless earbuds: Apple AirPods Pro 2 – save up to 54 euros

Is quality high on your list of requirements? Then you get the best of the best with the Apple AirPods Pro 2. Compared to its predecessor, the AirPods Pro, the noise reduction and battery life are a lot better and you now also get a more powerful bass. This is due to the updated chip used in these earplugs. Furthermore, spatial audio is also supported, so that the sound really seems to come from all sides.

Also new is the touch control on the stem of the earbuds. By swiping you adjust the volume and squeeze it briefly? Then you switch between the noise canceling function and adaptive transparency. With this, the AirPods adjust the noise reduction to the ambient noise. Then you can still hear everything around you while listening to music, but your playlist will not be disturbed by a crackling engine that just races by.

Best alternative: Beats Studio Buds – save up to 21 euros

The Beats Studio Buds work great with your iPhone. That’s because Beats is a subsidiary of Apple. Apple’s assistant Siri therefore simply works via these Buds. The earbuds also have many of the same functions that can also be found on the AirPods Pro 2.

Think of active noise reduction, but also spatial audio. In total, you can listen to your favorite music for about 5 hours on a single charge with the noise canceling function switched on. With the charging case you can fully charge the Beats Studio Buds two more times.

So many functions are similar, but the Beats Studio Buds have a completely different design than the AirPods Pro. The earplugs are therefore slightly smaller and lighter. And where AirPods have sensors to pause music or take a call, the Beats Studio Buds have physical buttons. You can also choose from three colors: white, black and red. AirPods can only be purchased in white.

These wireless earbuds use many self-developed techniques. As a result, they deliver powerful and balanced sound. They have a suggested retail price of 189.95 euros. That is a slightly more friendly price than the AirPods Pro 2, for almost the same functions.

Best budget earbuds: Apple AirPods 2 – save up to 49 euros

The AirPods 2 don’t have all the functions you see on the AirPods 3 or the noise canceling of the Pro earbuds. Nevertheless, the Apple AirPods 2 are still a good purchase. This is due to their good sound quality and you can also connect quickly to your iPhone.

The earplugs are available in two variants. If you like to charge your devices wirelessly, you pay extra for a charging case that can do this as well. Do you hardly use it at all? Then you leave it with the standard charging case.
