These are the 10 most economical cars in Germany

Anyone who owns a petrol engine is confronted with rising fuel prices. The so-called tank discount is also history. Reason enough to take a look at the ten most economical cars in Germany in our weekly ranking.

Many drivers are currently taking a closer look at the fuel consumption of their vehicles. Of the ADAC has in turn determined the most economical cars in Germany and examined models from the smallest car to the luxury class.

The most economical cars in Germany

For the evaluation, the automobile club took into account the respective CO₂ emissions of the vehicles and the total costs per month with a mileage of 15,000 kilometers per year. The ranking of the most economical cars is based on normal consumption in liters per 100 kilometers driven.

10th place: Toyota Aygo X 1.0

The Toyota Aygo X 1.0 falls into the “micro and small car” category. With an average consumption of 4.8 liters per 100 kilometers it ranks tenth among the most economical cars in Germany.
