The Witcher: Monster Slayer exceeds 1 million downloads in just 7 days
Despite the many server bugs and controversies over the title’s real qualities, The Witcher: Monster Slayer (App Store link – Free – iPhone / iPad) surpassed 1 million downloads a week after it became available on the App Store and Play Store (i.e. July 21). The AR game of CD Projekt Red came out in utter chaos, however, with scores of players unable to even connect to the overloaded servers. It must be believed, however, that the Polish studio manages to achieve success even when the omens are unfavorable to it. This had been the case for the release of Cyberpunk 2077, it is still the case here for The Witcher: Monster Slayer. According to Sensor Tower which publishes these figures, iOS gamers are much more numerous than Android gamers.
Despite a chaotic launch and lacking depth AR fights, The Witcher Monster Slayer has already been downloaded over a million times
This massive score is certainly dizzy, and yet The Witcher Monster Slayer is very far from being the best AR game to start on mobile. So, barely a week after its launch, Pokémon Go exceeded 10 million downloads !
