The showdown will be created by the feature series -apkrig
The long-standing crowd of television video game adaptations is expanding with other representatives. Binge and Crytek have announced that they will have their own feature series, Hunt: Showdown. And again, it will be available exclusively on the upcoming Binge streaming platform focused on players, which has previously announced the series Driver and System Shock. The service will start next year.
The authors promise a dark world of the late 19th century and a story set in Louisiana. The executive producers will be Avni Yerli, Faruk Yerli and Pascal Tonecker from Crytek. Allan Ungar and Vince Talenti take care of the production for Binge. Crytek co-founder Avni Yerli says they always knew that Hunt: Showdown would be a great feature series. It is said to have huge potential for many amazing stories. “We can’t wait to see what the Binge team can create,” he added.
The first of the collaborations with Crytek
Vincent Talenti believes that Hunt: Showdown has a great lore, which is great for adaptation. He is already looking forward to throwing the audience into this world. Allan Ungar praises the connection with Crytek because, according to him, Hunt: Showdown is still being discovered by new players and they will fall in love with its unique world. He believes this will be the first of many collaborations with Crytek. Again, so many IP companies do not own, so there are only a few options…
Hunt: Showdown was released in early access as early as 2018. In addition to the PC, it is now also available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game is doing very well on Steam. 83 percent of users rate it positively, and this is undoubtedly one of Crytek’s more successful projects in recent years.
