The sci-fi Star Exodus refers to Homeworld and Battlestar Galactic -apkrig
Star Exodus is a new single-player sci-fi real-time strategy game, which the authors say were inspired by the popular Homeworld series and the Battlestar Galactica series. Her story begins under dramatic circumstances – the destruction of our home planet. You will survive this catastrophe and command a fleet of spaceships traveling across the galaxy. Your task will be to keep the remnants of humanity alive at all costs. At the same time, the twenty-first century, with the help of new technologies and private companies, was to flourish space exploration. Well, you will become a space pioneer, but a little differently than you hoped.
As the player searches for a new place in space for his crew, he encounters an alien intelligent life, he must provide his ships with sufficient supplies and improve them as needed. This will not be a short trip, but a generational journey. You must not run out of food or fuel, because you have more ships at your disposal, but when you lose one of them, you lose everything that was on board with her, including people. The fleet is to be modified and improved by its commander during a long mission, so that he is able to face increasingly dangerous challenges.
For example, when ships encounter aliens, you need to make a quick decision whether to try contact, fight, or rather put your feet straight on your shoulders.
The player will also have to take care of the comfort and morale of his charges, because the search for a new homeland will drag on. The developers promise that no two games will be the same, as the course of the mission will be influenced by numerous important choices. In an effort to write our own story, we should look for other alternative outcomes.
For example, when ships encounter aliens, you need to make a quick decision whether to try contact, fight, or rather put your feet straight on your shoulders. You can also try to outsmart your opponents, but don’t forget that they are at home here while you are an uninvited guest who is on their doorstep. But we will not only meet enemies. After all, there must be someone in this cold cosmos who will lend us a helping hand. According to the authors, the galaxy will offer a huge number of worlds, and some of them are inhabited by peaceful species.
But in the end, finding a habitable planet will not be the only goal – no matter how vital it is. And surprisingly, it doesn’t even have to be decisive. Developers entice us that during our expedition we can even discover the truth about the origin of our own species. But we may not be ready to face this truth, the team suggests.
Star Exodus targets Windows and Mac and is developed by DreamStorm Studio. It is a young Polish team that is also working on the interactive natural title Natural Instincts. The game will be released by Games Operators. Star Exodus should be released next year at the earliest.
