The Samsung Galaxy S21 series receives an update to One UI 3.1.1 with new features

Samsung, along with the Galaxy Z Flip3 and Z Fold3 folding smartphones, has also introduced a new version of its One UI 3.1.1 extension. It contains several new functions, which, according to the TizenHelp portal, are now also available on the flagship Galaxy S21, S21 + and S21 Ultra models.

One UI 3.1.1 will bring some minor improvements

In the new version, users can look forward to an improved user interface, a new sleep mode, accidental touch protection, and a new version of the Weather and Camera applications. Animations and pop-ups load faster, and some users have pointed out that their devices have overheated less than the previous version. However, the list of changes itself does not specify what exactly is new in this version, so there may be more new features.

The 1082 MB version of the G99 * WVLU4AUGQ firmware is currently available in the US and Canada and will soon be available in other countries. Along with the above-mentioned innovations, it also brings an August security patch.

Upgrading to One UI 3.1.1 will soon include models from the Galaxy S20 and Note 20 series. In addition, Samsung is preparing a beta version of One UI 4.0 for the Galaxy S21 series.
