The Samsung Galaxy A30 gets Android 11 and the One UI 3.1 extension

Company Samsung has run the update on Android 11 for another your middle class smartphone Samsung Galaxy A30. The portal informs about it SamMobile. Along with the new version, it also receives an extension One UI 3.1.

The update also includes the April security patch

The Samsung Galaxy A30 was unveiled at the MWC 2019 Congress in Barcelona in February 2019, along with its larger sibling, the Galaxy A50. The pre-installed system was Android 9.0 Pie and a year later it received the Android 10 version. The latest Android 11 system receives three quarters of a year since the release of its stable version.

Android 11 brings enhanced notifications with foreground conversations, chat bubbles, or one-time application permissions. For the control of smart products in the home, a uniform setting will be added, which is accessible via the power button. The One UI 3.1 extension, in turn, improves graphics, animations, Samsung applications and allows you to remove location data from photos before sharing them.

The security of the smartphone should be increased by the April security patch of the system. The update is currently available in India and should gradually reach the Slovak market. You can also check its availability manually in the section Settings -> Software Update -> Download and Install. The Galaxy A30 should be guaranteed another system update on Android 12.

How’s competition with updates?

After the new year, the Japanese company Sony has launched an update for its Xperia 10 II, Xperia 5 II or Xperia 1 and 5 smartphones. Xiaomi has updated a number of its smartphones, including models of the separate brand Redmi. An example is Redmi Note 9S or Redmi Note 7 Pro.
