Law enforcement officers are also permitted to use the robots to incapacitate or disorient violent, armed or dangerous suspects who pose a risk to life.
However, the officials are only allowed to send the deadly android into battle if they have previously tried to solve the situation using alternative de-escalation tactics. In addition, only a limited number of high-ranking officials can authorize the use of the killer robots.
