The new update speeds up video recording
It’s been a few years since the company Google has introduced its own photography app in the Google Play store. Since then, it has undergone long development and several updates. The latest version of the application Google camera according to the portal XDA-developers speeds up the shooting of videos via the shutter button.
The function speeds up and simplifies video recording
Over the years, Google has made several changes to the application that not only added new features, but also improved its ergonomics. This also applies to the latest change. With Google Camera version 8.2.204, users will only be able to record videos with a few swings of their finger. This feature is based on the fast capture setting originally introduced in Google Camera 7.1 on the Google Pixel 4 smartphone.
How does the function work?
The new feature allows you to quickly start capturing video without having to change the mode to “Video”. Just press and hold your finger on the camera shutter in the app. In older versions of the app, you have to keep your finger on the shutter button throughout the video. If you move your finger to another location, the video recording will stop. However, in Google Camera version 8.2.204, you can move your finger to the left to switch to “hands-free” mode, which continues recording even if you lift your finger.
You can also move your finger up to zoom in or slide your finger down to zoom out. Because you no longer have to keep your finger on the shutter button to quickly start video recording, the user can focus on other things. For example, move the smartphone to a position that could capture the subject at a better viewing angle. The new version of Google Camera will be distributed to users over the next few days by region.
