The last update of this year -apkrig has arrived in Battlefield 2042
After the release of Battlefield 2042, DICE developers promised fans that they would return to the game several more times by the end of the year through patches. Two of them have already arrived in the game, the third has been waiting for its release to this day. This is also the last fix before the studio staff chooses a Christmas holiday and before returning to the offices or their home workstations in 2022. The third major update has probably automatically downloaded to any version you play and bring in First of all, modify the registration of hits by your shots on the enemy. This is a problem that was an obstacle for players, especially in the early days, and was partially mitigated by the reduction of random projectile scatter. But now there is an important debugging of server-side latency, and the experience should be much more enjoyable.
The complete list of fixes has traditionally been quite extensive and includes dozens of improvements in a number of categories. But the most important thing really remains the weapons and their behavior, which the developers dedicate to the introduction of the whole message. They explain that the registration of interventions is now much more consistent, again the mentioned dispersion of projectiles was adjusted and the developers also tuned the effectiveness of individual weapons or cannons. Thanks to this, for example, the effectiveness of 30, 40 and 57 mm cannons against infantry was reduced, on the contrary, the accuracy of interventions in SMG firing without aiming was increased or the behavior of weapons in connection with recoil was clarified.
In addition to weapons, the developers also focused on sounds, specifically on their different manifestations during different phases of combat, as well as on detecting steps in the rooms to serve as functional indications for others. Among the general fixes, DICE focuses on adding the ability to turn off cross-play directly in the Xbox menu, better filtering of servers, loading equipment that may sometimes appear empty or unassigned, or supporting targeting to keep the consoles consistent and powerful. has not changed significantly with regard to weapons or the development of the match.
Some vehicles have also undergone modifications, such as the infamous hovercraft, which reduced the effectiveness of the interventions, and in the Wildcat the firing speed was reduced or the heating of the onboard weapon increased so that it would not be possible to fire in one piece for so long. Often, however, these are very minor changes that can only be disclosed very inconspicuously, until time fully reveals whether the balance is going in the right direction and whether the experience of playing Battlefield 2042 is improving. However, we must not forget the minor modification of the grenades, which will explode approximately 3 tenths of a second later after the first bounce, or the motion sensor, which newly captures the enemy only at a distance of 20, not 30 meters.
