The iPhone 14 won’t get these improvements (and we’re very sorry about that)
It seems that the iPhone 14 will get a lot less improvements. There will be no new chip or camera with 48 megapixels in the regular iPhone 14. These upgrades are reserved for the iPhone 14 Pro models.

iPhone 14 gets fewer improvements
So says reliable Apple analyst Mark Gurman in his most recent newsletter. Apple is said to be planning to further separate the specifications of the iPhone 14 Pro models and the regular iPhone 14. This ensures that the new 48-megapixel camera can only be found on the iPhone 14 Pro models. The regular iPhone 14 has no major improvements for the camera and again gets a 12-megapixel camera, just like the iPhone 13.
According to him, the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Max will also receive the same A15 chip that can also be found in the iPhone 13. Perhaps Apple will adjust the chip slightly, but that is not yet certain, according to the Apple expert. The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will receive a new chip, the A16. According to Gurman, the worldwide chip shortages would have caused Apple to make this decision.
Gurman also discusses the design improvements of the iPhone 14. The design of the device will resemble the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13. According to the Apple analyst, the Pro models do see some improvements, including a new notch. This notch consists of a pill-shaped hole for Face ID and a small circle for the selfie camera.

Gurman also released something about the satellite connection that may come in the iPhone 14 models. With this you can also send messages without mobile coverage. Originally, Apple planned the feature for the iPhone 13, but nothing was said about it during the Apple event of the iPhone 13. According to Gurman, the iPhone 14 will now have this option.
