‘The drawings and love letters go back and forth’

Thousands of love letters, a hundred drawings and when they grow up they get married. These kids have already figured it all out in love.
Danica (35) is married to Gijs (35) and mother of Mihailo (14), Mattias (8) and Maksim (5).
“Our two youngest sons Mattias and Maksim have both been under the roof for a while. Mattias is not very talkative about it, but Maksim is. He has known his girlfriend Roos (5) for a year and from the moment they first saw each other at school, it was a hit.
Now he regularly calls her his wife and she him her husband. The drawings and love letters go back and forth and they sometimes buy each other presents. When they are eighteen they get married, they drive a Renault (we drove one ourselves for a while) and they have three children. They all made this up together. Too funny, we think. Let him fantasize, I always say. Whether my eldest Mihailo is already dating, I can’t say. He’s a teenager, isn’t he, they barely talk.”

Redhead future
Lydia (36) is married to Gerrit (45) and mother of Janne-Gre (14), Frans (12), Eshley (9) and Jade (3).
“My daughter Eshley is in 5th grade and has been dating Willian, a boy from her class, for four years. Every year they make it a big party on Valentine’s Day and their birthdays. Then they go out to dinner together (under the watchful eye of me and Willian’s mother) and spoil each other with presents. Very cute, it’s all so innocent.
I just find it funny that Eshley has already mapped out her entire future with Willian. Because she has red hair herself, she would like to have red-haired children when she grows up. Unfortunately, Willian has brown hair, but luckily she came up with a solution for that recently. She said: ‘Willian’s sister also has red hair, so I’m sure that will be fine. No problem!'”
