The Chinese mobile game copied the trailer for Battlefield 2042 -apkrig
Cases where China is “conspicuously inspired” by a Western product are by no means exceptional and can often seem funny when one disregards the fact that such parasitism on someone else’s work can really bother someone. In 2019, for example, we wondered how the new zombie open world clone from Tencent resembled Days Gone, we wrote about the action RPG Diablo_IslanD or the game Tank Battlegrounds, which robbed Battlefield 1942 without a cover. with subtitle 2042.
MP1st magazine drew attention to a new advertisement for the Chinese game Battle Warship: Naval Empire, which steals part of the Battlefield Portal trailer in an admirably thorough way. This is a segment from the trailer, which was released in July this year. Battle Warship: Naval Empire is a mobile game for iOS and Android operating systems from the Magic Prime Group. One might not even think how far one can go in “inspiration”, because in places, all sorts of little things coincide, including cameras, tempo and editing.
Of course, in practice, the mobile game probably doesn’t attract Battlefield any interested parties, but the core of the poodle is in something else. The question is whether EA will react to the trailer in any way, because some companies obviously don’t even pay to judge in such cases. And speaking of Battlefield 2042 and Portal mode, it’s worth noting that the new trailer coincided with its premiere yesterday. The Ripple Effect Studios team is in charge of this mode, which allows you to create your own Battlefield using elements from Battlefield 1942, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3.
EA Play and the Xbox Game Pass will offer a ten-hour trial of the new Battlefield, which will be available from November 12. The game as such is officially released on November 19, but with the gold or the ultimate version, for example, you can join the fight a week earlier.
