Android in January 2021
Fifteen pages full of news and more, that was, in short, the month of January. A quiet start to the new year was also not possible in the field of mobile communication. Consider WhatsApp’s new terms and conditions. People installed the Signal chat app en masse and Telegram also saw the number of users increase significantly. Later, WhatsApp said it would all be fine. Xiaomi started the year badly with the Android 11 update for the Mi A3, which made the device unusable.

Google Lens
Google Lens is a useful addition to Android that allows you to quickly identify an object, for example. Think of a plant, where Google Lens can usually tell you exactly what kind of plant it is. Signal
An application that saw the number of users increase significantly this month was Signal. The chat app is completely focused on privacy, but lags a bit behind the rest in terms of functionality. Many improvements have been made with the last update. You can quickly change a wallpaper, use animated stickers, set a bio with your profile and save data on calls. You can save up for football pictures at Albert Heijn until 7 February. Not only from players from the Eredivisie, but also from the Oranje Leeuwinnen and the Dutch national team.
