The 3 best films and series in the new month
Two brand new movies and a science fiction series that Star Wars fans have been waiting for for a while: December is going to be great on Disney +, and we’re introducing you to the three biggest highlights and their releases.
The Book of Boba Fett
Stream the first episode of The Book of Boba Fett on Disney + starting December 29th.
The Book of Boba Fett is the long-awaited spin-off from The Mandalorian, which is filmed by Jon Favreau like the Star Wars hit. In the new series, viewers now follow Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) and the mercenary Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen), who return to Tattooine together to lay claim to the land that previously belonged to Jabba the Hutten.

Nomad land
Start streaming Nomadland on Disney + starting December 31st.
The drama Nomad land has not only dusted off three Oscars and won a number of other awards; until recently the film was also shown in theaters. At the turn of the year, it will be included in the Disney + streaming program: The film follows the modern nomad Fern (Frances McDormand) in the 60s, who has been driven to freedom outside the city all her life. Now that her husband has died, she goes on a road trip through the United States, where she also begins to live in her van.
Apart from the actors, Nomadland shows several real nomads who spend their lives far from society.
The Last Duel
Start streaming The Last Duel on Disney + now.
Just arrived in the cinema, the opulent medieval drama changes The Last Duel now to Disney +: The film is based on true events and shows the background of the last judicial duel in the Middle Ages. Knight Sir Jean de Carrouges (Matt Damon) challenges his former friend Jacques Le Gris (Adam Driver) when his wife (Jodie Comer) accuses the squire of Le Gris of rape.
