Stronger than the iPhone. The Exynos processor with AMD graphics sticks out its claws

When Korean Samsung announced some time ago as part of processor development Exynos cooperation with the American AMD, great things could be expected. And they will probably really come. The well-known leaker Ice Universe has published images from the benchmark tool 3DMark, where the result is achieved by the Exynos chipset with Cortex-A77 units and the AMD graphics chip. Total score surpasses that acquired by the iPhone 12 Pro Max with its core A14 Bionic.

We are talking about the values ​​of 8134 and 7442 points, while the novelty from the Korean-American workshop also reached an average frame rate of 50 FPS compared to 40 FPS achieved by the iPhone. The results of this test need to be taken with caution because for example, energy intensity or heating is not known. But the direction is very promising. In addition, the Cortex-A77 cores are to be replaced in the planned Exynos 2200 chipset more modern and efficient units Cortex-X2 and Cortex-A710.
