GTA 4 in the Steam Sale: Complete Edition is being sold off
GTA 4 is now 14 years old. It is quite possible that many young GTA fans have never experienced Niko Bellic’s adventure in Liberty City.
If you’ve missed Rockstar’s open-world classic, you can now catch up on it at a particularly affordable price – because Steam offers the Complete Edition for an incredible 5.99 euros. A real bargain! In addition to the main game, the package also contains the two expansions The Ballad of Gay Tony and The Lost and Damned. The offer runs until May 8, 2023.
Together with the two DLCs, the playing time for the main story alone amounts to around 35 hours. If you take a little more time to explore Liberty City in peace, complete side missions and collect a few extras, you can spend a good 50 hours with the GTA 4: Complete Edition.
Still worth a look today – the official trailer of GTA 4:
What players should know before buying: The PC port of GTA 4 can cause technical problems and does not always run smoothly even on current systems. Anyone who has FPS problems, for example, can improve performance with a few tricks thanks to a practical Steam guide.
Also worth noting: Since the shutdown of Games for Windows Live, multiplayer and leaderboards are no longer available. However, this has no effect on the story mode.
What is GTA 4 about?
Nico Bellic comes after a long sea crossing as an immigrant in the American city of Liberty City and is greeted there by his cousin Roman, who is heavily in debt to the Russian mafia.
So that Roman’s bones don’t get broken, we give him a helping hand and help the gangsters with all sorts of shady jobswhich lead us deeper and deeper into the underworld of Liberty City and thus a step towards Niko’s real goal: to find the man who betrayed him and his comrades in the war.
In the two DLCs, on the other hand, we take on the role of two other people who Niko runs into during his time in Liberty City: Johnny Klebitz and Luis Lopez.
Johnny is part of the biker gang The Lost and has to hold his own against rival gangs, while Luis is nightclub owner Tony Prince’s assistant and tries to stop him from all kinds of nonsense and solve his problems.
