No time right now?
SpaceX is serious and opens its order form. In Germany, too, interested parties can already secure their connection set and be among the first to use the service.
Elon Musk’s satellite Internet provider Starlink has started the test phase for Germany. Interested parties now have the opportunity to register.
It’s very simple: you open up Starlink.com and enter an e-mail address and the address at which the satellite access is to be set up. In our test, the web app took over the correct address and we were able to register as a customer.

Numbers similar to the USA, but in euros
The cost is a one-time fee of 499 euros for the hardware, consisting of a bowl, stand, power supply, WiFi router and the necessary cables. Starlink can remunerate shipping and other handling with a further 50 euros. You will have to pay 99 euros per month for access. This means that the numbers correspond to those that Starlink also calls up in the USA and Canada – but with the euro symbol behind them.
To complete the order, Starlink requests your credit card details so that a down payment of 99 euros, which the provider calls a deposit, can be debited. This deposit is fully refundable until the order is delivered and is offset against the 549 euros that the entire package will have cost you in the end.
99 euros for early access – starting in mid-2021
If you have gone through the booking, you are 99 euros poorer and richer by a Starlink account. You can now log in to keep yourself up to date on the status of your order or – should you change your mind – cancel the booking.
Starlink has only provided a limited number of participants per region, which is to be expanded gradually. According to the announcement, a start in Germany is expected from mid-2021. Access should be activated after the order has been received. In other words, first come, first served.
