Spotify lets you start the year 2024 off right with ‘Playlist in a Bottle’

It still sounds far away, and it actually is. We are just well into 2023, but Spotify is already thinking about the year 2024. Every year, many Spotify users look forward to Spotify Wrapped, which was also released last year. In January you fall into a musical black hole again, but that will be different next year. This thanks to ‘Playlist in a Bottle’, from the Swedish music service.

With Playlist in a Bottle you can already collect songs for nostalgia and reminiscing. You can do this all year round for the year 2023. You first select a time capsule of your choice, such as a bottle, pocket, lunchbox or a gumball machine. Then you fill in a number of questions. For example, it asks for songs that remind you of a person, or songs you would like to hear live. The answers you give are collected in your time capsule. The bottle will be uncorked in January 2024, making a playlist available that you can listen to with the memories of 2023. You can also share the personalized card with your friends, just like you could do with Wrapped.
