Software support is slowly ending for these Samsung phones
Samsung is at the forefront of security updates, and it has often happened that, especially on flagship phones, it has released these updates before Google on its Pixels. And that means something. However, support for each phone must end once, usually a few years after launch.
Galaxy A20s, Galaxy A30s, Galaxy A50s and Galaxy A70s must be satisfied with updates every six months
Samsung has a relatively clear strategy. The latest phones (flagships) receive an update every month, with the vast majority receiving it at least once every four months. This is followed by a six-month cycle, which is the last phase before the final end of software support.
It is the Galaxy A20s, Galaxy A30s, Galaxy A50s and Galaxy A70s that have so far received quarterly updates, and now Samsung has transferred them to the last phase, the six-month cycle. Therefore, these two updates will most likely be the last step before the end of support.
