Smartphone with a brand new function has its price
Xiaomi wants more. The Chinese company has a lot of ideas for smartphones that have not yet appeared. One of them should become reality with the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4. But that has its price, as it turns out.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 4: The most expensive smartphone to date
Anyone who thought that the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra with a price of 1,199 euros in Germany was an expensive pleasure could soon experience a real surprise. The upcoming Mi Mix 4, which should offer many new features, will be even more expensive (source: GizChina). The next top cell phone to be launched this fall will cost over 5,999 yuan. That is the price that Xiaomi is asking for the Mi 11 Ultra in China. It is currently not known what the smartphone will cost in Germany. But it is clear that Xiaomi no longer sees itself as a low-cost provider, but can now also charge higher prices. Whether the high-end devices will be bought is another matter.
The Mi Mix 4 is said to be the first Xiaomi phone ever equipped with a sub-display camera be. The Chinese company is said to have invested a lot of time in the development so that the image quality of the camera is convincing. Manufacturers like ZTE already offer this technology, but the image quality is immensely disappointing. Of course, Xiaomi cannot and does not want to give itself this nakedness with such an expensive smartphone. Otherwise, the Mi Mix 4 should have a Snapdragon 888 Plus for the first time. The processor powers the next generation of smartphones.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 4: is the Chinese manufacturer playing too much?
If Xiaomi has its way, it is the Chinese company ready to follow in Huawei’s footsteps and to claim the space that has become free. The big question, however, will be whether customers are really willing to pay that much money for a Xiaomi cell phone – no matter how great it is. Xiaomi is still associated with cheap smartphones. And that’s exactly where the company’s core business lies anyway. We are still looking forward to the Mi Mix 4.
