Slitterhead – -apkrig

We informed you in February of this year that the spiritual father of the horror brands Silent Hill and Siren, Keiičiró Tojama, founded a new studio Bokeh. It was already clear at the time that he was about to return to horror and horror after learning about the more positive titles in the Gravity Rush series, and he was hinting at the inspiration given to him by his compatriot Junju Ito, the famous creator of the horror manga.

At the recent Game Awards, Bokeh Studio finally boasted the fruits of its work and introduced the upcoming game Slitterhead. She kept her promises of horror points, on the other hand, we were a bit embarrassed by the trailer as fans of Toyama’s earlier work. Instead of real horror, it looks like the studio is betting on cool action sequences, and I can’t help but think that Bokeh is taking a similar approach to competing Tango Gameworks with its Ghostwire: Tokyo.

The good news, however, is that another well-known name is involved in the play, Akira Jamaoka, the court composer of the Silent Hill series, who last made himself known through the Polish The Medium (the musical accompaniment was one of the few bright points of the game).

But we don’t know practically anything about Slitterhead yet, the release date is 2023, so the developers have plenty of time to clarify their intentions. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that in the end we won’t get another cooperative shooter for four players.
