Secure yourself a brute graphic cracker on Steam
Anyone who has missed the opulent action game Ryse: Son of Rome can now secure the former Xbox exclusive game for a slim 2.49 euros on Steam. We’ll tell you why the 10-year-old game still cuts a fine figure.
First class Roman hack and slash
If developer Crytek (Hunt: Showdown) is known for anything, it probably is the graphic splendor of its video games. The first-person shooter Crysis is the best example of this. But the studio has also created a real eye-catcher on the consoles. We’re talking about Ryse: Son of Rome.
The action game came out exclusively for the Xbox One in 2013 and was then a real graphic cracker. In terms of content and play, however, it fell short of expectations, which was also the case in proportion weak Metacritic score of 60 percent reflects.

Nevertheless, the Roman battle slab left a powerful impression and has aged surprisingly well with players. This is also supported by the user rating of 86 percent on Steam. There you can see Ryse up-to-date at the top price of only 2.49 euros to back up.
New hardware may cause problems
You can expect six hours of action, lots of quick time events and quite impressive graphics. But be careful: According to several users, the game should cause some problems on brand new hardware. In our opinion, the low price is worth the risk. In the worst case, of course, you can too make use of the return policy on Steam.
By the way, Ryse: Son of Rome is on the Xbox included directly in Game Pass. You can use Microsoft’s paid subscription service to download the game directly to your Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S at no additional cost.
