Samsung’s flagship from 2018 receives a security update
Company Samsung brings the November security patch to the three – year – old flagship model Samsung Galaxy Note 9. The information was provided by the portal SamMobile.
The update fixes bugs in the older Android 10 system
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 came on the market in 2018. It was the first model in this popular series whose S Pen used the Bluetooth interface to control the smartphone remotely. Prior to the installed system was Android 8.1 Oreo, which was later upgraded by the manufacturer to Android 10 with the One UI extension. 2.5. Unfortunately, Android 11 will not receive this device, but owners can enjoy at least a new security update.
The update is numbered N960NKSU3FUJ2 and the first to receive it is the South Korean owners of this smartphone. In the coming days, it should also reach the global market, including Europe and Slovakia. The November security patch distributed by it fixes a dozen bugs and vulnerabilities in Android 10. In addition, the update should optimize its stability.

The update is distributed in the form of OTA and the system should automatically notify you of its availability in Slovakia. If this does not happen, you can also check it in the section Settings -> Software Update -> Download and Install. Before installation, of course, make sure that the battery is charged to at least 70% of its capacity.
How is the competition?
Samsung also competes with the updates. Xiaomi has updated the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite, Redmi 9 and Redmi Note 9 smartphones in recent weeks. And Taiwanese manufacturer Asus recently even announced a plan to upgrade its smartphones to Android 12.
