“Samsung will soon breathe new life into old Galaxy Tab S6 Lite”
Samsung has plans to re-release its 2020 Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. This midrange tablet gets a new chipset and other storage variants, but most of the specifications remain. It is not known whether the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 will also come to the Netherlands and Belgium.

Samsung has new plans with an old tablet. The Tab S6 Lite may lead a second life if we can believe the latest rumors from the rumor spreader @ALumia_Italia† We see a 2022 version with the specifications of a Galaxy Tab S6 Lite and Samsung changes some aspects in the process and then relaunches it with its improved update policy.
Specifically, Samsung has exchanged the older Exynos 9611 for a Snapdragon 720G processor. The device still has 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, but this time the brand is also releasing a cheaper version with 64 GB of storage. The 10.4 inch LCD screen and the design of the Tab S6 Lite are retained, as are the 8 MP camera and the 7,040 mAh battery.
Old model, new life
It is also not the first time that Samsung is returning an older device to the market, because the brand previously did the same with the Galaxy S20 FE 2022 edition, which has not (yet) come to the Netherlands and Belgium. As with the S20 FE, you can say that both the design and the specifications of the Tab S6 Lite don’t look dated, so Samsung can bring an affordable tablet to the market without having to invest a lot in development.
At the moment it is not yet known when the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 will be launched and whether we can also welcome it with us.
