Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 is a candy for the gamers

At IFA 2022 in Berlin, Samsung unveiled the Odyssey OLED G8 (model name G85SB) a new addition to the Odyssey line to play games on.
The Odyssey OLED G8 is Samsung’s first OLED gaming monitor. The device is quite thin and has a screen size of 34 inches in combination with the Quantum Dot technology. What helps with gaming is the extremely low response time of 0.1 ms and a refresh rate of 175 Hz.
With a thickness of only 3.9 mm, the screen is the thinnest gaming monitor in the product category. The display is finished with a metal frame. Requiring no backlighting, the new Odyssey OLED G8 displays RGB colors and black for maximum color accuracy and clarity without a color filter. That is the brilliance of OLED.
The lighting is controlled in the pixels that can be expressed in black with an almost infinite contrast. The ultra-wide, QHD resolution (3,440 x 1,440) gaming monitor has a 21:9 aspect ratio with 100% color volume and a DCI-99.3% color gamut.
The Odyssey OLED G8 will be available in the Netherlands from December. Unfortunately, the Korean tech giant has not yet announced a price.
