Samsung will soon be introducing three new high-end smartphones, the Galaxy S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra. With the new processor alone, the smartphones should work much faster. Now it has been announced that another component will give a decent performance boost.

Samsung Galaxy S23 will be faster than expected

A special Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will be used in the new Galaxy S23 smartphones, which is said to offer even better performance with a higher clock. It was actually expected that this would be the only improvement in performance, because it was reported in advance that the main memory that we already know from the Galaxy S21 and S22 will be used. This is obviously not the case. Instead of the LPDDR5 memory, the LPDDR5X RAM can be used in conjunction with UFS 4.0 storage (Source: SamMobile).

The small X at the end of the RAM designation may not make a big impression at first, but we’re talking about one here 33 percent increase in performance. In combination with the extremely fast memory and the new processor, the Galaxy S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra should get a huge leap in performance. This will be particularly noticeable in Europe compared to the Exynos processors in the Galaxy S22 smartphones. At least in terms of performance, Samsung isn’t skimping on performance this year.

The camera of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra should be significantly better:
