Samsung is going to release S Pen for more devices
We saw the announcement of the S21 series last week. For the first time we find support for the stylus on a device from the Galaxy S series. However, Samsung seems to have even more plans with the S Pen, which should come to even more devices.
S Pen for more Samsung devices
So far, the S Pen has been only for the Galaxy Note series. That changed at Samsung with the Galaxy S21 announcement. For the first time, we also saw support for the S Pen with the S series, to be precise with the Galaxy S21 Ultra. The other two devices cannot handle this. Now Samsung seems to have more plans with the S Pen.
Samsung is planning to bring the S Pen to more devices, according to the latest reports. Samsung says the following to colleagues at SamMobile;
“We are committed to innovating new mobile experiences that flow seamlessly and continuously to make our consumers’ lives easier and better. We’ve made the bold decision to expand the S Pen experience to Galaxy S21 Ultra, and plan to expand the S Pen experience across additional device categories in the future. ”
It is not clear which devices will also be equipped with the S Pen. For now, we know that Samsung is at least working on a foldable smartphone with support for the S Pen. In any case, that is a device that can certainly use an S Pen, given the possibilities and form factor. Secretly, we also see an S Pen appearing with the A-series. Various brands such as LG and Motorola (with, for example, the Moto G Pro) are releasing middle class models with a stylus. Who knows!
