‘Samsung Galaxy S23 series only appears with Snapdragon chipset’
According to the latest reports, the new Samsung Galaxy S23 series no longer appears with an Exynos chipset. Samsung would only use a Qualcomm processor.
Galaxy S23 with Snapdragon
Samsung has a nice series of devices in its range with the Galaxy S22 series. Still, the manufacturer is already preparing the Galaxy S23 series behind the scenes. More information is now available about those smartphones.
It appears that no version with an Exynos chipset will appear. Samsung would only opt for the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset from Qualcomm. At the moment, the S22 series is powered by the Exynos 2200 and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. In Europe, the variant is supplied with Exynos.
The advantage of opting for one chipset already has to do with the software support. After all, you don’t have to maintain two different software versions. In addition, reports say that the new Exynos 2300, which is still in development at the end of May, could not measure up to the performance of Qualcomm’s new chipset.
We expect the new Samsung Galaxy S23 series sometime next year. In the coming time, more messages will undoubtedly come out about the smartphones.
