Samsung Galaxy S23 series launch date leaked
Multiple rumor mongers are coming with the news that the launch date of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series is known. When can we expect the smartphones?
Samsung Galaxy S23 launch
Earlier we already knew that Samsung will announce the S23 series in February, but a specific date has now been announced. According to a number of well-known rumourers, Samsung will announce its new S-series flagships on February 1 in America.
Among other things Ice Universe and OnLeaks report this on their channels. Another known leaker, Max Jambor, reports February 2 as the date. This will be due to the time difference, in America it is February 1 during the launch here in Europe February 2. Three well-known rumor spreaders therefore agree with each other and it is therefore likely that the date could actually be correct.
If the date is correct, Samsung will be there faster this year than last year. This is probably to get ahead of some competitors in 2023. For example, OnePlus will release its new 2023 flagship on January 7, the OnePlus 11 Pro.

The Galaxy S23 series will bring minor updates in many areas compared to its predecessors. The S22 Ultra is most similar to its predecessor, especially in terms of design, almost nothing will change. The Galaxy S22 and S22 + do get a new design, although there seems to be only one major change. The camera island will have to disappear. Samsung will opt for separate camera modules this time. The only unknown is the processor. For several years now, Samsung has chosen to market its flagships in two processor variants. One then has its own Exynos chipset, the other a processor from Qualcomm. This year, however, this will have to be different, but not then and eventually again. In short: the rumor mongers often did not fully agree with each other
At first it was thought that Samsung will not use an Exynos chipset, later it was thought that this will be the case this year and later it was thought that Samsung will only use the Qualcomm chip this year. The South Korean manufacturer will even stop making the Exynos processors altogether. According to the latest rumors, all devices from the S23 series will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. The entire series will even use an overclocked version of the chipset.
