Samsung Galaxy S21 series and S20 FE get security update July, A22 from June
Samsung has previously updated the Galaxy S22 series with the July security update. Now it’s the turn of the Galaxy S20 FE, released in 2020, and the Galaxy S21 series. An update is also ready for the Galaxy A22.
July security update for Galaxy S20 FE and S21
Four Samsung devices will be updated from this morning with the latest security patch available for Android. Security update July 2022 is being rolled out to various devices. First of all, Marianne reports the update for the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, with the device being one of the first devices to be offered the update. The update has a size of 260MB and according to the changelog only brings the improvements in security. On top of the patches from Google, the patches from Samsung have been added.
Samsung is also rolling out the update for the three smartphones in the Galaxy S21 series. This means an update for the Galaxy S21, the Galaxy S21+ and the Galaxy S21 Ultra. The three smartphones will only receive the new patch, so no new functions or major changes.
Galaxy A22
Michael also reports us an update for the Samsung Galaxy A22. The affordable A-series device will now be updated in our country with the June security update. This update only brings the security improvements, with no further new features or changes.
The updates for the mentioned devices will be rolled out from now on. When you can download this, you will receive a notification on your device.
