Samsung Galaxy S21 FE comes to Slovakia with attractive bonuses

The long-awaited novelty is finally officially introduced. Samsung Galaxy S21 FE comes to the Slovak market with a Snapdragon processor, Galaxy S21 series design, wireless charging and Dynamic AMOLED 2X display.

The smartphone, which was supposed to be here a long time ago, was accompanied by various messages. At first, his performance was postponed several times, later there was also talk of the complete abolition of this model. Although he arrived late, fortunately we were in the mood. The previous Galaxy S20 FE was very successful, will the novelty continue the established trend?

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE: Price and availability in Slovakia

The novelty will start selling on our market from tomorrow, 5.1.2022. The variant with 128 GB of storage is priced at 749 euros and will also appear in the operators’ offer. Orange and Telekom will include Olive and Graphite colors in their offers. In addition to the aforementioned colors, two more will be available at O2 – Lavender and White. All color variants are matte, which we evaluate very positively. The back of the news is plastic.

A model with 256 GB of storage will also be available on the Slovak market for 819 euros, but you can only get it in official stores and on the Samsung website.

If you buy this model, Samsung also offers the option to purchase an old device with a bonus of € 150. If you buy the Samsung Galaxy S21 Fe by the end of January, you will have a guaranteed display repair for only the co-participation price (30 euros), which is a very attractive offer.

Snapdragon a Android 12

Although the Exynos 2100 processor is not as bad compared to the Snapdragon 888 as it was in previous versions of the processors, potential customers will certainly be pleased that Samsung has chosen the Snapdragon variant in Slovakia.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 is a powerful last year’s chipset, which is made by a modern 5 nm production process. In two or three years, users will have no performance issues. This is of course handy because the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE should get up to 3 major updates to the Android operating system.

It comes with Android 12 and One UI 4, so it will also get Android 13, 14 and 15. Support for security patches should last a year longer.

Great display and wireless charging

The Dynamic AMOLED 2X display received a 6.4 ″ diagonal. Thanks to the thin frames, the overall dimensions of the smartphone are very pleasant. The refresh rate of 120 Hz is a matter of course. The 19.5: 9 panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. A protective film will be affixed to the display from the factory.

The battery received a capacity of 4500 mAh, which will certainly not impress. It’s not the most, but not the least. There is cable charging with a maximum power of 25 W, but as we expected, the charging adapter is not included. You will only find a double-sided USB-C cable here. The 25W Samsung charger currently costs around 15 euros. It should take about an hour to charge from 0 to 100%.

The excellent news is the presence of wireless charging with a maximum power of 15 W and you will also enjoy reverse wireless charging. So if you have headphones or smart watches from Samsung, you can also charge them with your new Galaxy S21 FE.

Ambitious camera

Samsung is sure in this regard. There are “only” three sensors at the back, there are no depth or macro sensors. The main camera has a resolution of 12 MP and a brightness of f / 1.8. It will also please optical image stabilization. It also has a telephoto lens with triple optical zoom and a resolution of 8 megapixels. The maximum possible digital zoom is 30x.

The last is an ultra-wide angle lens with an angle of view of up to 123 degrees and an aperture of f / 2.2. Unfortunately, it does not have autofocus, which means that creating macro photos is not possible. Portrait mode is available for both front and rear cameras, and advanced night mode, which is enhanced by higher performance, is also a must.

During shooting, it creates up to 14 RAW images, which are then combined into one and converted to JPEG format. The popular opportunity to record video and take pictures with both the front and rear cameras at the same time must not be missed.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE: Konkurencia

For a very similar price, it is now possible to buy the flagship OnePlus 9 Pro, which offers a 120 Hz LTPO panel, a popular superstructure and quality cameras. Samsung’s biggest advantage will clearly be longer software support.

We must also mention the Apple iPhone 13 Mini, whose main advantage will be its compact size and even longer software support. On the other hand, it contains only a 60 Hz display and a cutout in its upper side, which is no longer worn today.

The Galaxy S21 flagship series can also be a competitor, whose price fell pleasantly year-on-year. There is also a cheaper Motorola edge 20 Pro. It is also worth mentioning Google Pixel 6 with great software support and pure Android, but with availability in Slovakia it is relatively poor.
