Samsung Galaxy S20 FE receives August patch; Galaxy S10 July Update

Several Samsung devices have already received the August update. Now it’s time for the next phone to get the update; the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE.

Galaxy S20 FE: August security update

At the beginning of this month, the August security update was released by Google. Samsung was there like the chickens by already starting to distribute this update for the S22 series at the end of July. In recent weeks, more devices from the manufacturer have been updated with this security update. Now it’s the turn of the next device.

Richard informs us that his Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has received the update. In addition to the new patch, we also see that the stability of the device has been improved and that some Samsung apps on the device have been updated to a newer version. All this results in an update with a size of 899.55MB. As far as we know, no new functions or major changes will be made.

The update for the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE will be rolled out from now on, and will be available first for the 5G version.

Galaxy S10

An update is also being distributed for the three devices from the Samsung Galaxy S10 series. Frank lets us know that his Galaxy S10 will be updated to the July security update. This update will also be available immediately for the Samsung Galaxy S10e and the Galaxy S10+. In the changelog we see that even more issues have been addressed. There are improvements for the Bluetooth connection, the camera and the overall stability of the device. All this results in an update of 419.99MB.
