Samsung Galaxy Buds+ a Buds Pro is one of the best Bluetooth headphones on the market thanks to several advanced features. Their functions now according to the portal SamMobile extends a new software update.
The update detects the deployment of headphones
The Galaxy Buds + were launched in early 2020 and were Samsung’s first TWS headphones to deliver dual-controller sound settings. The Galaxy Buds Pro came on the market earlier this year and, compared to previous headphones, introduced ANC (Active Noise Canceling) support, 360-degree sound and a compact design.
The new software update gives them the ability to detect their deployment in the ear (Wear dectection) during the call. It should automatically switch the beep between the headphones and the smartphone when you insert or remove the headphones from your ears. The update with the new feature has so far appeared on Samsung’s domestic market in South Korea, from where it will reach other markets.
The software update is marked with R175XXU0AUK pre model Galaxy Buds+ a R190XXU0AUK1 for Galaxy Buds Pro. It is installed via the Galaxy Wearable app on your smartphone. You can also check its availability in the application. Of course, before installing the update, first make sure that your headphones are sufficiently charged.
What is the competition like?
Of course, the Samsung Galaxy Buds + and Galaxy Buds Pro are not the only top TWS headphones on the market. Their main competitors are Apple AirPods, Huawei Freebuds 4 and Sony WF-1000XM4. A cheaper alternative is the Redmi AirDots 3 Pro.
