Samsung Galaxy A14 comes on the market in these two variants

Even more specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A14 have surfaced. For example, it is now known that the new budget smartphone from Samsung will have a 4G and 5G version. In addition, the Galaxy A14 will probably be launched in two different processor versions. What else do we know?

The Samsung Galaxy A14 will be a new budget smartphone from Samsung. Earlier we wrote about the design and the price of the device, now we can add even more information. The Galaxy A14 has received FCC certification, according to a new report. This certification shows, among other things, that tested smartphones do not contain dangerous voltages. Such a certification is necessary if you want to release a telephone in the United States. Now the FCC certification of the Galaxy A14 has surfaced, 91Mobiles reports. We can deduce a number of specifications of the Galaxy 14 from this certification, we will list them for you in this article.

Battery, processor and network

According to the FCC listing, the Galaxy A14 has the following dimensions: 167.7 x 78.8 x 11.8mm. We also see that the smartphone will have a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh. The device could be charged with a power of 15W.

As you have already read above, the Galaxy A14 will be available in both a 4G and 5G variant. The 5G variant will probably come in two different flavours. One will run on a Dimensity 700 chipset from MediaTek, the other on an Exynos 1330 chip from Samsung itself. Much was still unclear about the processor. It was first thought that the A14 will run on a MediaTek processor, later the news came out that Samsung will use an Exynos chipset. Now it seems that both processors will be used in different variants.

The Samsung Galaxy A14 will probably be announced in early 2023. We expect that the device will be slightly more expensive than its predecessor, think of 199 euros instead of 179 euros. This will be the cheapest variant of the smartphone.
