1. Dirty Lines

It’s time for a new Dutch Netflix Original in April 2022! The Dirty Lines series tells about the rise of sex lines in Amsterdam. That means going back to the eighties, when synthesizer music was rampant and ecstasy was just being introduced to the nightlife scene. A psychology student takes a part-time job at the new company Teledutch, which is tapping into a new market with sex telephone lines.

2. Better Call Saul (season 6 part 1)

Finally, the new season of Better Call Saul comes out in April! Well, the first part of the sixth season anyway. This Breaking Bad spin-off is better than the original ever was for many fans. The show is about lawyer Jimmy McGill and how he turned into the Saul Goodman from Breaking Bad. Unfortunately, this is the very last season of the series. So enjoy it for a while.

3. Russian Doll (season 2)

Speaking of waiting: the first season of the Russian Doll series came out in 2019 and only now we get a sequel. But since the first season was so damn good, we’d rather have more later than nothing at all. In this show, Nadia relives the same day over and over again. When she dies, she starts up again in her bathroom. Then she finds out she’s not alone.

4. Return to Space

This documentary takes a look at the spaceflight of Elon Musk’s SpaceX to the International Space Station. The first time NASA astronauts have been launched into space via a commercial spaceship.

5. Apollo 10 1/2:A Space Age Childhood

While SpaceX is doing extraordinary things in space today, in the 1960s they were obsessed with the first space missions to the moon. Richard Linklater wrote this film about his own childhood, about a boy from Houston who dreams of going to the moon. At the same time you get the story of the first moon landing.

Roar tells eight special stories about eight special women. Like a woman who has to sit on a shelf, a woman who solves her own murder and a woman who eats photos. With Nicole Kidman, Issa Rae, Merritt Wever and Alison Brie, among others.

• They Call Me Magic – April 22nd

A four-part documentary about the life of basketball icon Earvin “Magic” Johnson.

• Shining Girls – April 29

Elisabeth Moss (Handmaid’s Tale) stars in this new drama on Apple TV Plus. She plays Kirby Mazrachiu, a journalist whose ambitions were crushed by a traumatic event. Then a recent murder turns out to be linked to that event.

Disney Plus April 2022

This month you can watch a new episode of the Marvel series Moon Knight every week on Disney Plus. In addition, you will find the following series and films on Disney Plus in April.
