Resident Evil Village is coming to Mac on October 28
Capcom unveiled the release date for his game Resident Evil Village on Mac, it will be October 28. An arrival just before Halloween therefore, as much to say that it is good given the universe. Note that the Winter expansion will also be available to play in third person.
Resident Evil Village will therefore be available on Mac, but it is worth noting that it will necessarily require an Apple Silicon model, that is to say with the M1, M2 chips or their Pro, Max and Ultra variants. Suffice to say that those who still have a Mac with an Intel processor can draw a line under it. Also, you must have macOS Monterey or macOS Ventura.
As a reminder, the announcement of the game on macOS took place last June during the opening keynote of WWDC, during the presentation of macOS Ventura. At that time, the demo had revealed that the game would be offered in 1080p on a MacBook Air and 4K on a Mac Studio.
Resident Evil Village was first launched in 2021, but it was only on Windows PCs and consoles. It’s a first-person title that asks players to explore their surroundings in hopes of discovering items and gear to progress. This episode is set in a snowy Eastern European village, and the focus is more on action and combat. Town takes place about three years after the previous game, Biohazard.
The download of Resident Evil Village will be done from the Mac App Store.
