‘Renders OnePlus 9 Pro show curved screen’
The well-known tasty OnLeaks has published renders of the OnePlus 9 Pro. He warns that the design is not yet completely fixed. Still, we get a good idea of what the device will look like. The design appears to be a cross between the OnePlus 8 Pro and the OnePlus 8T.
For example, the OnePlus 9 Pro retains the curved screen edges of the OnePlus 8 Pro. The rear is more like the 8T. The camera island moves from the center of the smartphone to the side.
Speaking of those cameras: the OnePlus 9 Pro will probably get four. The renders show two large lenses. Presumably it is a normal wide-angle camera and an ultra-wide-angle camera. The two smaller lenses could be a macro camera and a depth sensor. A telecamera to zoom in seems strikingly missing.
Little is known about the specifications of the OnePlus 9 Pro. OnLeaks does say that the smartphone will have a 6.7-inch screen. The OnePlus 8 Pro has a 6.78-inch screen. We also expect the 9 Pro to run on a Snapdragon 875. Qualcomm will probably announce this new processor in early December.
‘Ordinary OnePlus 9 gets two 48 megapixel cameras’
Previously, renders of the regular OnePlus 9 leaked. Unlike the Pro, that device has a flat screen. However, this smartphone also has two “large” cameras. According to 91mobiles, the primary camera retains a resolution of 48 megapixels. However, it is a newer sensor than the one in the OnePlus 8T.
The OnePlus 9’s ultra-wide-angle camera may also get a 48-megapixel sensor. That would be a big upgrade from the 8T. The ultra-wide-angle lens on that device has a resolution of 16 megapixels.
