Renault offers Amazon Music on its cars
Amazon Music is coming to a new medium, namely Renault cars. Both groups have tied a partnership to allow drivers to listen to their music through the streaming service.
Here is what Renault says:
Together, Renault and Amazon Music are changing the way customers find and listen to music in a vehicle. For the first time, the Amazon Music application is available for free download on My Renault Mobile application. With Amazon Music, Prime members get access to ad-free listening to 2 million songs at no additional cost to their subscription. Listeners can also take advantage of the premium subscription service, Amazon Music Unlimited, which provides access to over 90 million songs and the latest releases. Customers also have free access to an ad-supported selection of the best playlists and stations on Amazon Music.
With this collaboration, Renault and Amazon Music want to improve the customer experience by allowing them to enjoy millions of songs and thousands of playlists directly from the OpenR Link interface. Renault customers who listen to Amazon Music Unlimited will also have access to a catalog of more than 90 million songs available in High Definition (HD).
The offer will be available on board the latest generation of Renault vehicles equipped with the OpenR Link system in Germany, Spain, Italy, France and the United Kingdom. This coincides with the launch of the Megane E-Tech Electrique which inaugurates the new OpenR Link connected interface.
Customers can find their Amazon Music offer from their MyRenault space and take out a subscription as soon as the 6-month offer is activated. They can download their application from the MyRenault redirection either directly on board the vehicle. The offer only applies to new users who subscribe for the first time to Amazon Music Unlimited and who have gone through MyRenault.
