Redmi Note 10 series officially: AMOLED display, 108 MP camera and 5G support

Today at 13:00 our time Xiaomi officially unveiled 4 new smartphones from the Redmi Note 10 series. Compared to the Redmi Note 9 series, these devices have received one big improvement – all four models have AMOLED displays.

At the beginning of the stream, Xiaomi mentioned how last year’s Redmi Note 9 series was doing and how every year she tries to push the boundaries of the impossible with Redmi devices. Let’s take a look at how it has done this year.

Redmi Note 10 Pro

Stream started with the best of the best. Redmi Note 10 Pro offers a 6.67 ″ AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, which is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. It also has an Eye Care Display certificate, which guarantees a low level of harmful blue light.

His camera got the most attention in the stream. Xiaomi has brought a 108 MP sensor to the middle class, complete with various creative functions. It is further complemented by an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor, 5 MP macro and a 2 MP depth sensor.

Inside we find a Snapdragon 732G processor with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM. There are two UFS 2.2 internal storage capacities available – 64 GB or 128 GB, which can be expanded up to 512 GB with a microSD card.

To make matters worse, the Redmi Note 10 Pro offers dual speakers, a great vibrating motor and Xiaomi doesn’t forget about NFC and the 3.5 mm jack. It will be launched with the MIUI 12 superstructure, which is based on Android 11.

It will be available for the model in three versions and in three color versions – Onyx Gray, Gradient Bronze and Glacier Blue. The cheapest version with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage is priced at $ 279 and the 128 GB version at $ 299. The price of the version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage starts at $ 329.

Redmi Note 10 a Note 10S

Xiaomi also introduced two cheaper models – Redmi Note 10 and Note 10S. These two phones are very similar, except for three differences.

Both devices have a 6.43 ″ AMOLED display and have a 5,000 mAh battery that supports fast 33 W charging. They also have dual speakers and a 3.5 mm jack. They also have four rear cameras – the same 8 MP ultra-wide sensor as the Redmi Note 10 Pro, a 2 MP macro and a 2 MP ultra-wide sensor. They also match in internal storage capacity, you have a choice of 64 GB version or 128 GB version.

The first difference is in the primary rear sensor. The Redmi Note 10 has only a 48 MP sensor, while the Redmi Note 10S has up to a 64 MP sensor.

The processors and the capacity of the operational memory are also different. Redmi Note 10 is powered by a Snapdragon 678 processor, which is complemented by 4 GB of RAM. Note 10S in turn MediaTek Helio G95 processor and depending on the version 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM.

Price for the Redmi Note 10 starts at $ 199 for the 64 GB version and $ 229 for the 128 GB version. It will be available in three colors – Onyx Gray, Pebble White, Lake Green.

Redmi Note 10 5G

Finally, the 5G model of this series was introduced, which was also introduced as a middle-class gaming smartphone. It offers a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor and 4 GB of RAM, complete with 64 GB or 128 GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. There is also a large 5,000 mAh battery with support for 18 W charging.

Xiaomi also focused on the display in this model. It offers a 6.5 ″ Full HD + display with a 90 Hz refresh rate. On the contrary, cameras are not the focus of this smartphone. Compared to other models, it will have only three rear cameras – 48 MP main sensor, which is complemented by a depth and macro sensor.

Redmi Note 10 5G will be available in four colors – Aurora Green, Chrome Silver, Graphite Gray, Nightime Blue. Its price starts at $ 199 for the 64 GB version and $ 229 for the 128 GB version.

Competition

Xiaomi has set the bar high and such a price-performance ratio in the market has no competition. The Galaxy M31s or Galaxy A71 from Samsung offer a very similar set of specifications. It is also worth mentioning the Motorola Moto G30, which has worse specifications in some areas, but is available at a very low price. The Note 10 5G competes with the OnePlus Nord N10 5G smartphone.
