Ready Page in Seconds: Website Builder Wix Brings AI Website Builder
Modern website construction kits should enable users without programming knowledge or web design skills to create their own reasonably professional website. Among other things, the providers provide ready-made designs for this purpose.
Already bet some kit providers to virtual assistants who give users a helping hand. Now creating a website should not only be easier, but the page should be ready within seconds – with the support of artificial intelligence (AI).

The Israeli provider Wix has presented an AI website generator with which a complete homepage can be created just by entering a few instructions (prompts). A combination of ChatGPT – for creating the texts – and the AI tools from Wix – for the design – is used.
Like Wix boss Avishai Abrahami in a blog post explained, the AI website generator is not a template, i.e. a design template. Rather, the mix of different AI tools should be able to create unique websites tailored to the users.
Design and layout should be based directly on the website content. If you have a change request, you should be able to change it directly via a corresponding prompt.
“I know it could be that simple, sounds like magic and too good to be true. But I promise it will be a reality soon,” Abrahami said.
A short video shows how the AI creates and changes an entire website using prompts. For example, the purpose of the planned website and the desired presentation are queried.
After the first draft, which is actually in the video after a few seconds, you can customize the page with additional prompts. According to Wix, all relevant functions offered by the website builder can be integrated into the site.
Wix has not yet announced when exactly the AI website generator will be available to users. There is also no information on pricing. In addition to the generator, Wix has also announced a number of other AI website building tools, including one designed to beautify finished websites with the help of AI.
However, before using the tools, companies in particular should find out about possible copyright infringements that could occur when designing texts and images. How well the AI creates the websites will only be seen when the tool is online.
