Postbank failure – what is the cause? What can you do?

This time it is an “announced disruption” at Postbank. From Friday 31.3. online banking will no longer work for several days. The cause is a technical conversion through which the IT system of Deutsche Bank is to be merged with that of Postbank. Like our colleagues from T-online to report, Deutsche Bank wants to save a lot of money with it. The work is expected to last until around April 3rd.
Telephone banking is also affected and ATMs will not work for a while. So stock up on cash in advance! You can still make transfers in writing at the post office.

What is behind the Postbank disruption?
