Realme GT3 is fully charged in 9.5 minutes
The Realme GT3 is the European version of the Realme GT Neo 5. Both phones use a 240W fast charger, which fully charges the 4600 mAh battery in 9.5 minutes, as we can see in the video below. Only have 80 seconds? Then you can charge the battery of the phone for 20 percent, and the percentage is already at 50 percent after 4 minutes.
That is not yet the fastest time for a fast charger. Redmi just announced its 300W fast charging technology, which can fully charge the battery of this phone in 5 minutes. For the time being, this phone is not on the market, but Realme’s is.
Battery life
The 240W charging technology of the Realme GT3 is in fact developed by OPPO, the parent company of Realme. OPPO already showed its 240W SuperVOOC fast charger to the general public last year. An important part of this fast charger is the Battery Health Engine (BHE). The technology allows the battery to continue to perform at 80% of its original capacity after 1,600 charge cycles, doubling the current industry standard of 800 cycles.
That is not unimportant, because in the past there have already been examples where fast charging technology has a negative impact on the battery of telephones. Xiaomi announced a 200W fast charger two years ago, but it had to admit afterwards that its technology significantly reduces the life of the battery.
