We apologize for the inconvenience.’ That is what you will now see if you want to log in to the ING Banking app. The orange lion is experiencing a malfunction, so you can open the app, but as soon as you have entered your login details, this message is there and you cannot continue. So you can’t pay and you can’t view your bills.
ING Banking app has a malfunction
ING customers who want to do any kind of banking via their telephone run into a technical malfunction. We see on Allestoringen.nl that the problem started around lunchtime (12:00). It doesn’t seem like there’s any way around the outage: you really just can’t access your accounts for a while. That payment request for advancing your colleague’s lunch will therefore take a while. Or make sure you have enough on your current account for the parties or shopping this weekend: that also takes some time. ING must first come up with a solution for this annoying login problem.

Customers indicate on Twitter, among other things, that they are fed up with another outage: ING has indeed been hit regularly recently. Last already with the payment (in April), again in mid-May and now in full again. It is undoubtedly not something ING likes very much, but it does not seem that the bank is already aware of the malfunction. At least: it has not yet communicated about this. On May 12, during the last outage, it did through its Twitteraccount. It is hoped that it will be resolved soon.
