Open-world underdog fights his way to the top
A new week is dawning – and with it the reign of a new Steam king. This time, an open-world game has snatched the throne, which was originally released exclusively for the PlayStation. The fans should be happy about the success.

# 1 Steam bestseller: Days Gone conquers the PC charts
Days Gone was one of the titles for the PS4 that many gamers had been looking forward to. However, the game couldn’t live up to the huge hype. The ratings of the users and the critics were mediocre, so that Days Gone soon disappeared again into oblivion.
The open-world game is now experiencing its second spring on the PC. A look at the current Steam bestseller list shows: Days Gone sells like hotcakes and takes first place. Even the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition can’t keep up and has to be content with second place.

No successor for Days Gone? Developer blames gamers
Just before the PC version was released, Days Gone hit the headlines when a developer mentioned it during an interview no sequel to the open world game will give. According to him this is mainly due to the playerswho didn’t buy Days Gone at full price right from the start, but instead dusted off the game with a PS Plus subscription or sale.
