Oops: mother celebrates son (3)’s birthday on the wrong day for two years
We hear you thinking: how? Well, she explains that in great detail in a TikTok video.
Small misunderstanding
“I’m going to tell a story to make all insecure moms feel better,” Emily begins. The mother has just received a call from her pediatrician, because she has to forward a bill to the health insurer. And for that she needs the date of birth of her 3-year-old son. No problem, you might think. “I tell them that my son’s birthday is on February 26. I am his mother, I know his date of birth,” says Emily. But according to the health insurer, that is not true and her son’s birthday is on February 25.

One day late
Before Emily calls the health insurance company to tell them they’re wrong, she checks the birth announcement on her Facebook page just to be sure. What seems? Her son was not born on February 26, 2018, but on February 25, 2018. “I celebrated his birthday on February 26 for two years,” she confesses. And worst of all, Emily now has to call her pediatrician back saying she didn’t know the birthdate of her middle child. To clear up any doubts once and for all, she yells, “I love my kids! We may not celebrate their birthday on the right day, but we do celebrate the day after.”
