OnePlus Pad announced: OnePlus launches its first Android tablet
The OnePlus Pad is now official. OnePlus unveiled its first Android tablet at its Cloud 11 conference and it’s packed with premium specs.
The OnePlus Pad has an aluminum unibody assembly for the chassis that houses the 11.61-inch LCD screen with a refresh rate of 144 Hz, a definition of 2800 x 2800 pixels and an aspect ratio of 7: 5. The panel reaches 500 nits and offers a contrast of 1400:1. OnePlus claims that the thinness of the borders makes it possible to obtain a screen that occupies 88.14% of the surface.
We can also mention the support for Dolby Vision, as well as the presence of four speakers on each corner of the tablet, with support for Dolby Atmos.
Under the hood, the tablet runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 chip. It comes with 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space (UFS 3.1). On the autonomy side, OnePlus offers a 9,510 mAh battery which can last 14 hours and 30 minutes on a single charge according to the manufacturer. This is autonomy for watching streaming videos. The brand adds that the tablet can last a month on standby. As for charging, there’s SuperVOOC support at 67W. According to OnePlus, it takes 80 minutes to fully charge.
Another aspect concerns the photo. There’s a 13-megapixel sensor, capable of shooting 4K. The front sensor offers 8 megapixels and can shoot in 1080p. On the other hand, there is support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3
And of course, there will be accessories, such as a keyboard, a case or even a stylus (OnePlus Stylo).
