Nothing Phone 1 with transparent back
The back of the Nothing Phone 1 yet to be announced will be transparent. This means the back is see-through, which is something we don’t see very often. The confirmation of this is becoming given by Carl Pei himself, in an interview. Pei also indicates that the smartphone can be charged wirelessly. What power this will be has not been shared by the company’s CEO. Pei was at the helm of OnePlus several years ago but started a new company some time ago. Its own headset has already been released under the brand name Nothing; the Nothing Ear 1. That product already had a transparent design.
The phone’s frame must be made from recycled aluminum, according to the company. Nothing provides the device with Android 12, with its own Nothing Launcher. It is known that the device will get a Snapdragon processor, but which is not yet clear. Possibly the new Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. According to a source, the device should be announced on July 21 and it would be released in Europe for about 500 euros. We expect more information in the near future.
